Rebecca Gitana Torres is a Caribbean transformational space holder, intimacy guide, multidisciplinary creative born and raised in New York City. With over a decade of professional practice and a lifetime devoted to spiritual inquiry, her work bridges ancestral wisdom, urban resilience, somatic healing, and restorative leadership. Her wellness practice spans three coasts, serving international clientele, families, and communities both in person and online.

Rebecca’s work centers on liberating the mind, reconnecting individuals to the earth, teaching practical tools for personal alchemy, decolonizing the home, and reclaiming intimacy as sacred and transformative. Through creative storytelling, embodied practice, ritual, awakening alchemy for inner liberation, she teaches that true leadership and transformation begins within one’s own nervous system, home, relationships, and mindful presence.

As a community-based healing practitioner and educator, Rebecca designs and facilitates restorative spaces in partnership with cultural institutions, universities, and grassroots organizations. Her work is distinctly multi-generational, often supporting parents and children, couples, and entire family systems. By strengthening the home as a site of healing and agency, she amplifies a model in which empowered households contribute to resilient communities and collective transformation.

Rebecca stewards two sanctuaries in New York city and Borikén (Puerto Rico) dedicated to rest, remembrance, and renewal. Within these spaces, she hosts immersive one-on-one retreats focused on spiritual mentorship, nervous system reset, embodied intimacy, and conscious transition into life’s next chapter. Her retreats are designed not as escape, but as recalibration, equipping participants with tangible tools to lead their lives with clarity, sovereignty, and purpose.

A self-taught, award-nominated television producer, and host Rebecca has created culturally responsive media that centers healing and homecoming, including her shows Healing Through the Home and Lifestyle Remix. Her forthcoming book expands on her decade-long body of work exploring the home as a site of safety, liberation, pleasure, and generational repair.
